Frequently Asked Questions

What does $1 buy?

For $1 USD, place your name and link on the homepage until the next eligible buyer replaces you. Share your spot and explore Most Famous. No views, placement duration or sales are guaranteed.

When does the timer start, and can it reset?

The first successful purchase starts one calendar month in UTC, preserving the time of day and clamping to the destination month’s last day. Later purchases never reset the timer. Only verified PayPal COMPLETED payments strictly before the cutoff are eligible; a payment at the exact cutoff is excluded. Purchases close at the cutoff. The last eligible purchase wins, followed by 14 days of winner display measured from the cutoff. A 15-minute verification phase after cutoff falls within those 14 days. Unresolved evidence leaves the holder provisional for review.

What decides the last holder?

Verified PayPal completion time decides eligibility and ordering, not click time or notification arrival. Equal completion timestamps use a stable server purchase identity as the final tie-breaker. Delayed eligible evidence can correct a provisional holder during verification.

Can I buy after the countdown ends?

No. The interface and server close purchases and capture initiation at the cutoff. An exceptional operation dispatched before closure may complete later; it cannot replace the winner and enters refund review. This describes handling, not a promised refund right.

Are payments available in this preview?

No. The PayPal adapter is disconnected. No live order, charge or payment success is available. The fresh preview inherits no original holder, traffic or purchases.

How do sharing and rankings work?

Share the public page with friends. Most Famous ranks measured visits by name and country. Visit rankings and traffic measurement are not connected, so no view totals are shown. Verified eligible purchase history is listed separately.
